Overview

VEO is designed with privacy at its core. We don't require accounts, don't ask for your email, and don't track you for advertising. The game works offline, and we collect only what's needed to make gameplay work.

What We Collect

  • Anonymous ID: A random identifier to manage your game sessions. No personal info attached.
  • Player nicknames: Names you enter for gameplay only—stored locally or in your session.
  • Game photos: In online mode, photos are temporarily uploaded so other players can see them. Auto-deleted within 24 hours.
  • Purchase info: If you subscribe to VEO+, we store your subscription status to unlock features.
  • Moderation logs: Photos in Online and Challenge modes are scanned for inappropriate content. We store the pass/fail result, never the image itself.
  • Content reports: If you report inappropriate content, we store the report reason and your anonymous ID.

What We Don't Collect

  • Email, phone number, or real name
  • Location or GPS data
  • Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
  • Analytics or usage tracking
  • Contacts, health, or browsing data

Online Mode

When you play with friends on multiple devices, game data syncs through Firebase. This includes:

  • Session codes and game state
  • Player nicknames and scores
  • Game photos (compressed, temporary)

Challenge Mode also syncs through Firebase with the same auto-deletion rules. All session data is automatically deleted when the game ends or within 24 hours, whichever comes first. Photos are screened for inappropriate content before sharing.

Children's Privacy

VEO is family-friendly and safe for all ages. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children. All shared photos are automatically screened for inappropriate content to maintain a safe environment.

Third-Party Services

  • Firebase: Secure game data sync and photo storage for online play.
  • Apple App Store: Subscription management for VEO+.
  • Google Cloud Vision: Automated content moderation for photos.
  • Expo: Push notification delivery for challenge updates.

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
